[My Own Money] Reptile Theme Cafe Yangjae/Cheonggyesan Green Forest

Busy day, June 13th

Went to a friend’s wedding,

#freedivingfins and then

#cafegreenforest

#greenforestparking

There was space in front of the store, so parking was ample.

I didn’t know it was a #themedcafe, and when I entered, there was a slightly musty smell and it wasn’t cool, so I hesitated a bit.

I went in because there were plants I liked,

but looking closely, it’s a #reptilecafe???

Since I was very thirsty,

I ordered an iced Americano (#decaf available).

(4,500 won)

There were geckos and iguanas on one side of the wall.

My Americano came out quickly.

The coffee tasted good. There were no people at first, but the seats quickly filled up.

In the #vivarium in the center of the cafe, there were frogs when I looked closely.

There’s another very large vivarium on the other wall.

There are two iguanas? The reptiles here are all active, with vivid and beautiful colors💚

There are also 2 #greentree pythons.

I was lucky enough to see them move slowly. I saw a #snakecoil.

While we were talking about various things, suddenly we heard a commotion, and it turned out they were #feedingtime. They said they were giving crickets.

I saw a #chameleon‘s tongue in slow motion.

There are also reptile vivariums under the counter.

They seem to become more active when it’s time to eat.

When they were feeding, the children approached to watch, and they kindly made space so they could see better. It was very heartwarming.

I rarely saw reptiles at the zoo because they were always hiding,

but it turns out they have such long tails….

The #mexicanhornedlizard is near the group seating area.

Seeing it turn its head was so cute I was smitten.

But it’s interesting that it has a defense mechanism of tearing its cornea to spray blood…

My personal favorite is the #popeyedgecko!!!

Although the color is different from the #frozenlizard, it’s so cute.

They are quite small, but the photo below looks big because it’s zoomed in.

It’s great to be able to see cute and active friends up close.
