[My Money, My Purchase] March Busan Trip 2 - Gukbap Tour Near Busan Station: Bonjeon Dwaeji Gukbap

March 18, 2026

Busan trip with Mom

Left early in the morning on the KTX!

Arrived at 9:30 AM and went to #BusanBonjeonDwaejiGukbap to warm up our tired bodies. It was mid-March, but the wind was still strong and cold.

Mom said she was hot and wore a jacket LOL

I was betrayed by the Busan wind in early March, so I dressed warmly this time.

I wasn’t planning on having breakfast, but I felt like I needed to warm up my body in the chilly weather.

We went to Bonjeon Dwaeji Gukbap, which I couldn’t visit last time because the line was too long.

This place is crowded with people on weekends, but it’s nice to come during weekday hours.

I told my mom, “This place is famous! I’ll take you to a place where people line up to eat.”

But LOL, it was so empty that Mom didn’t believe me.

We ordered two bowls of Dwaeji Gukbap.

The kimchi and chives pancake were very delicious.

I really liked that it was served as a separate soup and that the meat, which had lost its water, was tender.

It has a different charm and a different delicious taste compared to #SinchangDwaejiGukbap.

And the salted shrimp, which was the best!

No, this is the color of salted shrimp I only see during kimchi-making season at #NoryangjinFishMarket. LOL. It was white, milky, and just beautiful.

Water is self-serve, so I drank it after finishing the meal.

It feels good to eat delicious food without a line on a weekday.
